NYU is looking for a Library Media Administrator to manage the day-to-day operations of The Constantine Georgiou Resource Center for Children and Literature.
This position will manage the day-to-day operations of The Constantine Georgiou Resource Center for Children and Literature, and will be in charge of perpetuating the Georgiou legacy while simultaneously providing a cutting-edge educational resource center for current and future NYU faculty, alumni, and students. This position reports jointly to the department of Teaching and Learning and the NYU Libraries.
Qualifications/Required Education:
Master’s degree in library science with a specialization in children’s literature
Preferred Education:
Required Experience:
Min. 3 years’ experience with communication technologies used in an educational setting, such as presentation systems, video conferencing, distance education technologies, Learning Management Systems, etc.
Preferred Experience:
Experience supporting information technology and training, and working with literacy faculty to develop programs that support scholarly activity.
