The Digital Asset Management Associate will support Bain & Company’s Global Marketing team to provide structure to – and increase the value of – Bain’s digital assets.  The candidate should have a strong interest in metadata and tagging to catalog digital photographs and videos for Bain’s new online library. The position will work with Bain’s Digital Asset Administrator to organize, tag and improve the value and process for existing assets.  Candidates must have strong organizational skills, good business judgment, an interest in business, and be able to work independently.  This is a New York based position and will report into the Digital Asset Administrator.  This is a 6 month full-time temporary assignment.

- Cataloging images in the collection through the identification and inputting of metadata into databases
- Manage the image archiving process including documenting tracking information
- Trouble shooting image library issues with the departments within the agency
- Maintain and organize image files on the server
- Maintaining directory and document files by creating and providing image history and tracking reports for the agency
- Labels slides and photographs with necessary identifying information
- Interacts with other departments to meet and provide their visual resource needs
- Functions as an administrator of the digital asset management system, monitoring the use and population of the system
